When I’m not practicing yoga or engaging in some kind of physical activity, I spend a huge chunk of my day sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen. This absolutely take its toll on my posture, so back pain often rears its ugly face.

Yoga is one of the best ways to treat yourself to restorative movement that stimulates the body, mind and spirit. That’s exactly why I’m excited to share this free video tutorial highlighting some of my go-to yoga poses for back pain.

Here’s a list of the 11 poses from my yoga for back pain video.

1. Forward Fold (Hold for 5 full breath cycles)
2. Chair Pose (Hold for 5 full breath cycles) 3. Chair w/ a Pulse (15 pulses)
4. Cat-Cow Pose (Hold for 5 full breath cycles)
5. Figure 4 Leg Stretch (Hold for 5 rounds of breath on each side)
6. Figure 4 Leg Stretch w/ a Twist (Hold for 5 rounds of breath on each side)
7. Upward-Facing Dog (Hold for 5 full breath cycles)
8. Sphinx Pose (Hold for 5 full breath cycles)
9. Child’s Pose (Hold for 5 full breath cycles)
10. Child’s Pose—Walk hands to L & R. (Hold for 5 rounds of breath on each side) 11. Happy Baby (Hold for 5 full breath cycles) Repeat for as many times as you’d like
