In 1993 Janet Jackson posed in a a much-talked about cover of Rolling Stone magazine in nothing more than a pair of jeans and two hands covering her upper lady parts.
Fast-forward to nine years later and singer/rapper/dancer Teyana Taylor has released her own version of the flick that was shot by actor Lance Gross.
Maybe it’s the short shorts and the black stocking and garter belt, but this rendition seems overdone and overly sexually suggestive. I’m just not feeling it.
I must admit– I’m a huge Janet Jackson fan, but based on aesthetics and looks alone, I like her picture better. Some things are better off not being duplicated.

I mean Teyana is a very pretty girl but Janets was hands down much better. I think it was the outfit of choice that threw me with Teyana’s picture
