I have a confession B&B friends–I’m not a huge fan of beauty boxes. I’m usually pretty set in my ways and use pretty much the same products to maintain my hair, skin and nails. I used to think that subscription services were awesome option, but they just weren’t for me. I couldn’t really identify with some of the brands and I felt like they weren’t necessarily catering to me. COCOTIQUE changed my mind.
COCOTIQUE is a monthly beauty box subscription service. You can expect to receive 5-8 expertly curated beauty and lifestyle samples.
The July/August Summer Essentials box was curated by Cynthia Bailey, who an uber-fab supermodel and stars in The Real Housewives of Atlanta series. She’s also the Founder and CEO of The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, so it’s pretty safe to say that Cynthia knows beauty and from the looks of her beautiful hair and skin, she knows it very well!
I was sent a sample of the Summer Essentials box for review and besides being obsessed with the stylish chocolate and gold packaging, I was beyond pleased with the diversity of the products the box contained.
The box contained the following:
- OGX Awapuhi Ginger Penetrating Oil
- OGX Macadamia Oil Penetrating Oil
- Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil (This is my favorite item from the box. I LOVE JBC, and this is a great product!!)
- The Naked Bar Lemongrass Grapefruit Foaming Sugar Scrub
- 3 Befine Skincare Products- Single Serve Night Creeam, Single Serve Gentle Cleanser, and Single Serve Warming Clay Mask
- SPECIAL GIFT: Shea Moisture Spot Correcting Moisturizer (This product is from the beauty GAWDS! It smells and feels heavenly on my skin.)Harvey Prince Journey Mini Roller fragrance (Love this light scent infused with Indian Tuberose, Turkish Cyclamen and Spanish Mandarin.)
This was definitely a diverse box for hair, skin and body and I have incorporated a few of the items into my regular beauty regimen.
