When it comes to makeup, I’m always super stoked to hear of product launches from MAC and their holiday collections never upset.
I recently got my hands on a few products from the MAC Heirloom Mix Holiday Collection for 2014 and decided to see how these gorgeous shimmers look on dark skin.
The MAC Heirloom Mix Enchantment eyeshadow is a gorgeous indigo hue with a deep glittery finish.
I’m beyond obsessed with the MAC Heirloom Mix Nostalgic eyeshadow. This color is so pretty and gives an ethereal feel when I’m wearing it. I love that is sheer but luminous. I wore it out for several day and night occasions during a recent vacation and it is absolutely divine.
If there is one item that I can keep my lips off it’s the MAC Heirloom Mix Sparks of Romance lipstick. Honey, let me tell you about this fab lippie! Besides being a gorgeous poppy red hue with a matte, frost finish (which I live for), it’s infused with pretty sparkles. (I could feel the texture of the sparkles in this lip color but it wasn’t irritating or weird and it had pretty decent wear time. )This color is perfect for holiday parties and gathering, but please don’t limit yourself to just those kinds of occasions. I definitely rocked it on date night and it was totes appropriate and haute.
The limited-edition MAC Heirloom Mix Holiday collection is available online and in stores October 23 – December 18, 2014, and I’m definitely adding more of the pressed pigments and gorgeous lippies to my collection. It’s definitely brown girl approved in my book!
