Discovering the Carol’s Daughter brand has been one of the best things to ever happen to my hair! If you read this blog often, you know that I’m a huge fan of the brand, so whenever they launch a new collection it’s in my DNA to try my best to get my hands on it to write a review. That was definitely the case when I found out about the brand’s new Marula Curl Therapy collection!

According to the press release “This collection focuses on renewing your dry, unmanageable curls to transforming and training your curls to spiral into long-lasting perfection.” They hit the nail on the head with accomplishing this goal! If you don’t know much about Marula Oil, it’s a rare ingredient that’s harvested in South Africa and has been used to help keep curls looking fly for 12,000 years.

If there is one thing that I feel like Carol’s Daughter consistently delivers with in product ah-mazingness, it’s their cleansers. I have 4 b/c hair and my hair always feels squeaky clean after shampooing (and not in a good way) I like to have a little bit of softness and movement to my curls and once again Carol’s Daughter didn’t upset with the Marula (Curl Therapy) Gentle Cream Cleanser ($18). My hair smelled fab, felt fab and my curls were defined!

I’m a sucker for a good hair mask so of course the Marula (Curl Therapy) Softening Hair Mask ($24) gave me my life! I loved the creamy texture–it wasn’t to thick and it wasn’t soupy… it was just right! I put it on my hair before sitting under my Huetiful hair steamer and the results were fab-u-lous! My hair was extremely soft and it smelled divine. This is definitely going to be a go-to for me during these cooler months. Love it!

I was prepping my hair for a protective hairstyle and decided to apply Marula Oil (Curl Therapy) Softening Serum ($18) before blow drying. This oil helps makes your curls appear more defined and less dry. I didn’t notice a huge change in my curl patter prior to blow drying but I did like the look and feel of my hair after using. What I liked most about this oil was that it wasn’t heavy or greasy. It came with an additional cap that allowed me to pump the oil out, which was a definite plus.

I liked this blend of conditioning Marula Oil and  Almond Oil in Marula (Curl Therapy) Diffusing & Styling Lotion ($20). It left my hair hydrated and shiny. Based on other reviews that I’ve read this is the perfect product to partner with Marula Oil (Curl Therapy) Softening Serum for daily styling.

I am a huge fan of the  Carol’s Daughter Marula Curl Therapy collection! My hair smelled absolutely amazing after I used the line. Once again, Carol’s Daughter gives me just what I needed for a fuss-free hair day!
