Trending: Black and White Body Contouring Fashions!

I’ve been gone for a minute fellow F&B lovers, but I’m finally back with some more glam stories for you! For the past couple of months I’ve seen a lot of body contouring popping up on the red carpet.

One style the I particularly love is when beat ladies rock this trend in black and white. The combination of black and white will never go out of style! It can be sophisticated-yet-edgy, serious-yet-whimsical, or you can just go for glam and turn heads on every corner! Here are some of my favorite celebs doing this trend all kinds of justice in uber-stylish ways.

Tika Sumpter showed off her lady-like figure in a black-and-white dress from Celebboutique.com I just adore everything about this piece. I love how it;s form-fitting and screams summer-chic despite it’s just-below-the-knee cut. Werk!  (There is a Stella McCartney dress similar to the one Tika’s wearing, but she opted for a lower-priced version.)

Mel B and Alicia Keys also flaunted their enviable figures in two-toned Stella McCartney dresses. The composition of black and white lines really bring dimension to all of the right places. The black stripes down the side really accentuate their svelte shapes.

They both rocked bangin’ heels and sleek hair with the look, but I’m leaning more toward Alicia’s combination (Even though I prefer Mel’s shoes) because she kept her jewelry minimal. I’m just not feeling Mel’s chunky arm pieces.

Jordin sparks also stepped out in style with this trend at a SiriusXM event in a cropped, black-and-white blazer. I’m not sure who it’s by, but I love this look as a casual play on this trend. The cobalt blue tank paired with dark denim and stacked peep-toe pumps are glamazing accents to the statement piece.

What do you think about this trend? What are some of your favorite black-and-white body contouring pieces?
