How I Do Fall Fashion in Florida

Fall in Florida is pretty much perfect. We have amazing weather in the low 80’s and crisp cool winds that make you feel all giddy inside. It’s the exciting feeling of Pumpkin Spice without the calories.

What’s most intriguing about Fall in my neck of the woods is how easy it is to transition my Summer pieces into my wardrobe. I’m the type of lady who loves a cropped top and high-waisted denim pairing, so Autumn in Florida is a gift! A few years ago, I was living in Chicago and by the time the leaves started changing colors, I was bundled up in a scarf and a pea coat.

For this look I decided to play around with some of my favorite colors (all black everything) and textures; distressed denim, houndstooth, leather and fringe. These distressed jeans are from ASOS. I love their Ridley jeans and I pretty much have every wash and style . My thirst for their denim is real!

I’m pretty obsessed with these Privileged by J.C. Dossier Melko Black Fringe Heels and I’ve been wearing them like they’re my only pair of shoes (I snagged for a great deal at Akira!). I topped off the look with a houndstooth jacket with leather sleeves that I found at JC Penney a few years ago and threw on my go-to Kenneth Cole Reaction bucket bag.
