Glamspiration: So,I’m Thinking About Cutting My Hair…

For the past few weeks I’ve really been wanting to try something new with my hair. I’m bored with super-long extensions and although I love my natural curls, I’m semi-uninspired by them, as well.

I figured that the next best option would be to totally revamp my look with a short haircut, but I didn’t want to make that drastic of a change without seeing how that style would actually look on me. That’s when the Sensationnel Bump Collection Fab Fringe wig came into the picture.

I saw tons of YouTube video reviews of this wig and decided to give it a try. I ordered this unit from Sam’s Beauty ($25.99) on a Tuesday and received my package by Friday. I tried it on and initially I wasn’t impressed, but I played around with it a little and instantly fell in love!

The Fab Fringe comes in several solid and mixed colors; I got it in Champagne (jet-black and blonde mix) because I wanted just a hint of color. I think that I’m also going to get it in Caramel (honey and jet-black combination).

Here are some of my favorite celebrity girls who give me glamspiration to opt for a short style:

Although she seems to be on a ratchet twerking rampage, Miley Cyrus still looks cute with her short hair. Halle Berry’s always stunning, Meagan Good makes glamour look easy with her short tresses and Frankie Sanford and Charlize Theron are flawless! Glamspiration, indeed!

I can never leave out Tia Mowry! (Love her! I’m sure I’ll cry like she did when she cut her hair! Hopefully, they will be tears of joy!) This won’t be the first time that I’ve made the big chop. In October 2009, I cut my hair to about 1/2-inch long when I decided to transition from relaxed to natural.

I’m also very inspired by beauty blogger McKenzie Renee. (Isn’t she adorbs? *Photo via her blog*)

What’s your take on short hairstyles? Do you think I could rock it?
