Today I had the pleasure of embarking on a glam piece of history when I attended the first-ever MAC Cosmetics “youth concept” store at the Florida Mall and I took a selfie with singer Madison Beer. (My blogger boo Brittany from Clumps of Mascara was there giving life, too!!) I visited the old MAC Cosmetics store at this mall in the past and I was beyond pleased with the awesome, creative layout of the new store!
It’s designed in the shape of a C with a 20-foot long table covered in lipstick, lipgloss, eyeshadow and more for visitors to play with and to really test the products.
The mall was buzzing well before stores opened as fans lined up hours in advance for the chance to get their glam on and take a #MACSELFIE with singer Madison Beer.
The selfies were totes adorable and fans got a print out of their pics and could also use social media to share a super-cute animated GIF of their snapshots.
One lucky fan even got the chance to get her makeup done by Madison Beer!
I was very impressed with Madison’s makeup skills too, I kept saying she beat her fan’s face to the gawds, as you can see in this #MACSELFIE they took after the look was completed.
Madison Beer’s gorgeous makeup was done by MAC Artist, Florida Mall, Desiree Rodriguez, who is known for her fierce winged eyeliner shared tips for getting amazing winged eyeliner.
I also spoke with Desiree about the significance of this first-ever MAC Cosmetics concept store!
“It’s amazing just have this new concept store because it’s so welcoming and open that visually people just want to come in and play. It’s fun for someone that’s new to makeup to experiment a little and play with the MAC products,” she said. “Orlando is perfect for this location because we have amazing local clientele which we love and we get a variety of different places from all around the world.”
She even shared tips on how to get the perfect wing for yourself and she gave me a gorgeous bold orange lip and perfect brows! I felt (and looked) amazing when she finished my look! (The lighting at this location is EVERYTHING, BTW! Perfect for selfies while you’re playing with the different products!)
She also did a fabulous red lip on Mina from MinaSlater.com using the original Viva Glam Rihanna lipstick. Can you believe Mina was a little iffy about wearing a red lip?! She’s totally slaying it!

This was quite the Glam Event and I had a blast taking my #MACSELFIE with Madison and getting ah-mazing makeup tips from Desiree! You have to stop by the MAC store at Florida mall to see her and the rest of the glam staff that work there. Plus this is an innovative youth concept store that you MUST experience!
