Hi everyone! I’ve been in search of the perfect purple lipstick for a while, now and after months of searching, I’ve found my beauty match!
A couple of days ago, I went to Sephora with a couple hoping to find the perfect red lipstick for one of them. We ended up in the Make Up For Ever section and a bold purple shade instantly caught my eye. The Rouge Artist Intense Pearly Dark Violet #14 lipstick shade was absolutely gaw-jus!
I was hesitant to try it at first because although, I love a great vampy lip look, I wasn’t sure I could pull it off with this deep color. I swatched it on my lips and after one glance in the mirror I was hooked.
Although, the color looks ah-mazing by itself. (Above picture) I’ve been pairing it with a layer of Milani Haute Flash 103 In A Flash lip gloss. (Seen in the main featured photo of this post) The shimmery blue and purple accents in this gloss bring a pretty jewel-toned pop of color to this lip look. I loooove it!
